Oil Analysis PAO Gear Oils, industrial gear oils
helios PAO Gear Oil is a product series of synthetic high performance oils for high performance industrial gear that under adverse operating conditions, including shock loads, offer the superior lubricity and load-carrying capabilities. The oils are formulated from synthetic polyalphaolefin (PAO) that have as basic materials exceptional oxidation resistance and thermal properties and excellent fluidity at low temperatures. The combination of raw materials with inherently high viscosity index and carefully selected additive technology provides excellent protection against scoring and resistance to fatigue-related micro-pitting over a very wide operating temperature range.
Available Viscosities ISO VG 100, 150, 220, 320, 460 : DIN 51517 Part 3 - Lubricating Oils CLP
helios PAO gear oils are high performance gear oils, including used in enclosed industrial gear operated under adverse conditions such as high loads and extreme temperatures over a wide temperature range.
- excellent high-pressure and anti-wear properties
- High-pitting
- Highest thermal and oxidative stability
- Extremely good fluidity at low temperatures
- Excellent corrosion protection
- Very favorable viscosity / temperature behavior
- Very good demulsification for wasserbeaufschlagte circuits
- Low foaming
- Very good compatibility with elastomers and paints normally used for mineral oils
- For example, Use in helical, bevel and planetary gear;
- Worm gear; Central and circulation systems with gear;
- Plain and roller bearings; Lubrication of heavily loaded sliding surfaces and joints
- Refillable during operation
- Storage and circulation systems in which high temperatures
- Outstanding ability to absorb the load and repression of micro-pitting protect the gears before scoring and wear, increase the service life of equipment and reduce maintenance costs
- Raw materials of high viscosity index provide excellent fluidity at low temperatures and effective lubrication over a wide temperature range
- Highest thermal oxidation resistance ensures greater cleanliness in the system, allowing for longer service interval
- Low traction and increased lubricity contribute to the efficient use of energy
- Excellent resistance to rust and corrosion protection characteristics as well as good demulsifying abilities ensure trouble-free operation at high temperatures and in applications that are exposed to disturbing influences water
- Good sealing and paint compatibility across a wide range of sealants and paints
- immiscible with PAG (polyalkylene glycol) industrial gear oils
